        Marital satisfaction is one of the factors for progress and achieving life goals while having psychological problems such as depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder can be obstacles to achieving these goals. This study aims to investigate the relationship between depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder with marital satisfaction in pregnant women in Malekan. This research is descriptive-analytical. The statistical population included primiparous women of Malekan city in 2019. Hundred people were selected from the clients of health centers, using the available sampling method. Data collection tools were the Beck questionnaire to determine the degree of depression, the Madzley Obsessive-compulsive disorder, and Enrich questionnaire to determine marital satisfaction, completed by interview. Data were analyzed by Chi-square, Fisher, Pearson, and multiple linear regressions. The results of multiple linear regression of the effect of depression on marital satisfaction showed that depression had a statistically significant relationship with the subscales of marital satisfaction, relationship, conflict resolution, and ideal distortion. Also, the results of multiple linear regression of the effect of obsession on marital satisfaction showed that obsession had a statistically significant relationship with the subscales of communication and ideal distortion. In conclusion, the present study showed that the relationship between depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder with marital satisfaction is inverse. Marital satisfaction in pregnant women with depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder was lower than in healthy people. Therefore, it should be considered as one of the important priorities to reduce these problems. Manuscript profile

        The present study examines the rate of marital conflict index in Iran by secondary analysis of national family survey data in Iran. The results of the Couples Conflict Rate Index in Iran indicate that 15.3% of the total number of married respondents have no conflict with their spouse، 40.7% have low conflict، 26.6% have moderate conflict and 17.5% have high conflict with their spouse. Married people have the least conflict over other issues related to conflict in the type of job and related issues. Among the issues of conflict between couples، the presence of the spouse on time at home with 22.1% and spending time with each other with 21.7، respectively، had the highest percentage of high conflict between couples. Among the existing solutions for resolving the conflict، referring to the judicial authorities and the court has the lowest rate among the solutions for resolving the couple’s conflict، so that (88.8%) of the respondents stated that they do not go to the court and the authorities to resolve the conflict with their spouse. In this regard، 76.5% use a lot of tolerance and 74.5% use a lot of dialogue to resolve the conflict with their spouse، which these two categories had the highest values among the conflict resolution solutions between couples.         This study's purpose was to investigate the role of sexual issues in the married life of Couples who are applicants for divorce. The research method is Fundamental in purpose and descriptive-analytical type. The statistical population included all couples being applicants for divorce in Amol city who had been referred to the city court from October to December 2019. In this study, among those referring people, a semi-structured interview was conducted between available ones, and finally, the number of samples was saturated with 20 couples. Findings were quantitatively analyzed using percentage and frequency and the chi-square test. The results showed no significant difference between the responses of men and women regarding the importance of sex before marriage and the sexual dissatisfaction role in the collapse of cohabitation. However, there is a difference between the responses of men and women regarding the importance of sex after marriage, the role of sex in the emergence of divorce, and the continuation or separation of each other due to sexual dissatisfaction. Women overestimated the importance of sexual issues after marriage and the importance of sex in the breakdown of married life and the emergence of divorce more than men. Manuscript profile
